Of all the newspaper stories done on the film, this is my favorite. The writer, Andrew Rodgers, was extremely friendly and professional - upholding Chicago's tradition of well-written, accurate newspaper journalism. He even came to watch the film two days later when it was screening at their Alt.film Fest.

FACTUAL ERRORS IN THIS ARTICLE:

  • I didn't email Melanie Lynskey to ask her to be in my film. Mel was computer-illiterate at the time and didn't have email access.
  • You may have noted that the film is accidentally called Foreign Correspondent once. A simple typo, to be sure.
